Action of prisoners for 'Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan' is on its 22nd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike in prisons demanding "freedom for Abdullah Öcalan and a solution to the Kurdish issue" is on the 22nd day.

The rotating hunger strike action launched in prisons to demand the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is held in isolation in İmralı Type F High Security Closed Prison, has entered the 22nd day.
 
Prisoners started a hunger strike action on November 27 in support of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue" campaign, which is in its third month. The action will continue until February 15, 2024.
