ANKARA- Emine Şenyaşar's Justice Watch protest at the Parliament continues. Her son Ferit Şenyaşar reacted: “The mother is looking for an interlocutor other than the security (police) in the Parliament.”

Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered and one son was arrested in the attack carried out by the bodyguards and relatives of former AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha (Urfa) on June 14, 2018, continued her Justice Watch at the Parliament on the 12th day.

CALLING OUT TO 85 MILLION PEOPLE

Before the protest, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who is also DEM Party MP for Riha, held a press conference at the Parliament. Ferit Şenyaşar, who started his speech by saying “The mother could not find justice from the judiciary”, stated that the protest was taken to the Parliament for this reason. Şenyaşar stated that his mother addressed 85 million people by coming to the Parliament and said: “She is addressing the Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş and President Erdoğan.”

'INVITES PARLIAMENT TO DUTY'

Ferit Şenyaşar said that the perpetrators of the massacre are still out and reminded his mother's demands again. Şenyaşar said: “A deputy should come out and make a statement. The mother has been sitting in front of the Urfa courthouse for 846 days, in front of the Ministry of Justice for 124 days and in the Parliament for 12 days. She is calling on the Parliament to put an end to this persecution.”

Stating that mother Şenyaşar was tried to be prevented by the police in the Parliament, Ferit Şenyaşar said: “The mother is looking for an interlocutor other than the security (police) in the Parliament. Let's put your hands on your conscience and find a solution.”

Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar then sat in front of the door of the AKP and MHP groups. Şenyaşar, who continued her protest in a wheelchair, talked about the massacre. Şenyaşar continued her protest on the sidewalk in front of the door due to her illness.
