ANKARA - The new curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Education was approved by the Turkis Education Board and Discipline. The curriculum will be submitted for approval by the Ministry of Education.
Turkish Education Board and Discipline approved the new education curriculum known as the "Turkey Century Education Model" prepared by the Ministry of Education. In the statement on the official website of the Ministry of National Education, it was said: "The Ministry of National Education, Turkish Education Board and Discipline, approved the new curriculum as a result of its evaluations."
The draft, which the Ministry of Education presented to the public as the "new education curriculum" on April 26, created controversy. Education unions and non-governmental organizations criticized the government, stating that it aimed to implicitly convey its ideology to students with the new curriculum.
