Governorship bans 'Kurdish march'

KOCAELİ - Kocaeli Governorship decided to ban protests for 7 days against the planned march demanding that Kurdish be a compulsory course.
 
In the statement made by Kocaeli Governorship, it was stated that the Kurdish Language Movement Association shared posts on social media accounts that a march would be held to Ankara, starting from the provincial borders, in order to draw attention to "Kurdish language rights demands". The Governorship announced that all demonstrations and events were banned between October 31 and November 6 due to the march in question.
