Merdan Yanardağ's indictment accepted

The indictment against TELE1 Editor-in-Chief Merdan Yanardağ, who was detained and arrested on June 27 after criticizing the absolute isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, has been accepted. The indictment, which was prepared with the allegations of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization" and "praising the crime and the criminal", was accepted by the Istanbul 30th High Criminal Court. It was decided to continue the detention for Yanardağ. It is stated that the first hearing will be held on October 4.
