Arrested journalist Yılmaz: Easy is not for us

ANKARA - Journalist Sedat Yılmaz, who was arrested in Ankara and put in Sincan Prison, said in a message to his colleagues:  “Easy is not for us. Give me a few days, I will continue to write."
 
Mesopotamia Agency (MA) Editor Sedat Yılmaz, who was detained in Amed(Diyarbakır) on April 29 and arrested in Ankara on May 3, World Press Freedom Day, sent a letter of solidarity from Sincan No. 2 Type F High Security Closed Prison. Speaking to his colleagues, Yılmaz said: “Your brave and determined solidarity that you have been showing for me and my friends for the past few days has touched me a lot. We all see this process. It will have some difficulties, it should be. It's not easy for us. Give me a few days, I will continue to write. You guys know what I  do; therefore, I greet you all with my deepest love and respect. I hope we meet soon in a more free and democratic country. I embrace you.”

Yılmaz also sent a message to his colleagues, Yılmaz said: “We have increased your load in this process, please forgive me. I know; You will not look for our absence with all your struggle and with love."
