YPJ Commander Tolhildan laid to rest by thousands

NEWS CENTER - YPJ Commander Jiyan Tolhildan, the commander of the operation that ended ISIS who lost her life in an assasination carried out with a Turkish drone, along with Roj Xabûr and Barîn Botan, were laid to rest with a ceremony with the participation of tens of thousands of people.
 
A funeral ceremony was held for Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) and YPJ Commander Jiyan Tolhildan, Roj Xabûr and Barîn Botan who were killed by a Turkish drone on July 22.
  
TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE FUNERAL
  
While the USA Army issued a condolence message for Tolhildan for her success in operations against ISIS, tens of thousands of people participated in the funeral ceremony held in the Martyr Dijwar Cemetery in Hesekê.
 
'INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY HAS RESPONSIBILITY'
 
Speaking at the ceremony, Democratic Union Party (PYD) Co-Chair Asya Abdullah stated that they will resist all attacks and said, “People are sacrificing a lot for this resistance. The brotherhood of the peoples of this land is an example to all other regions." Abdullah said that the international community has a responsibility for the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation against the people.
 
Xabûr is laid to rest in the Martyr Rustem Cudi Cemetery in Dirbêsiyê district, and the bodies of Tolhildan and Botan is laid to rest in the Martyr's Cemetery in Shehba Canton.
