Bodies of dozens of soldiers taken to hospitals in Hakkari

HAKKARI - The bodies of dozens of soldiers who lost their lives in the clashes in the Federated Kurdistan Region were brought to the hospitals in Hakkari.
 
While the attacks launched by Turkey against the Zap, Avaşîn and Metina areas in the Federated Kurdistan Region on April 17 in partnership with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) continue, the balance sheet of the conflicts is getting more dire. It has been learned that the bodies of 27 soldiers who lost their lives in clashes in the last 4 days were brought to the hospitals in Hakkari city center and Yüksekova district. It was stated that the bodies were sent off to their hometowns with cargo planes from Yüksekova Selahattin Eyyubi Airport.
 
MORGUES OF FIELD HOSPITALS AND COLD STORAGES FILLED WITH BODIES
 
According to the information received from the village guards who participated in the operation, the clashes have intensified especially in the Zap area. The guards stated that bodies of many soldiers are left where they are killed for days due to intense clashes. The guards also shared the information that nearly 150 soldiers injured in the clashes are currently being treated in Hakkari Alpine Commando Brigade.
