URFA - Addressing the AKP, Şenyaşar family said: "Tomorrow, when the elected start canvassing for elections, these people will ask why is this woman sitting here. Do they have an answer to this question?"

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 477. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.

Starting the sit-in in front of the Urfa Courthouse, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "A mother has been staging a sit-in at the door of the Urfa Courthouse for 477 days. Why doesn't an official from the state come out and ask what this mother wants?"

'PEOPLE WILL ASK AKP'

Referring tothe Ministry of Justice's silence against their sit-in, Şenyaşar said: "Tomorrow, the President will instruct the MPs and their elected officials that they go among the people for canvassing. All the people in Urfa see and what has been done to my mother. Many AKP executives we met were dismissed from their parties for visiting her. Tomorrow, when the elected start canvassing for elections, these people will ask why is this woman sitting here. Do they have an answer to this question?"

Şenyaşar family asked the same questions to AKP Headquarters and Urfa Provincial Presidency from their twitter account.
