226 Afghan refugees deported from Turkey

İZMİR – The Governorship of İzmir stated that 226 refugees were deported yesterday in a statement regarding the refugees who were  removed from the Removal Centers (GGM) by force.
 
Izmir Governor's Office issued a written statement regarding the refugees who were put on buses yesterday by force at the Harmandalı Removal Center (GGM) in Çiğli district.
 
In the statement of the Governor's Office, the followings were stated: "Including foreigners who entered our country illegally and were caught in a truck box in Torbalı district of our province and handed over to the Provincial Immigration Administration Removal Center for deportation;
 
* 78 Afghan nationals deported from Ankara on 23 June 2022,
 
* 226 Afghan nationals were deported to their country from Izmir on June 24, 2022.
