Journalists detained for 6 days

DİYARBAKIR - 22 people, including 20 journalists, have been detained in Diyarbakır for the last 6 days.
 
22 people, 20 of whom are journalists, were detained with raids on their homes and media outlets in Diyarbakır on June 8. It was learned that they are still denied their basic needs, while the decision to restrict the investigation file of the journalists held in Diyarbakır Provincial Security Directorate continues.
 
Journalists whose detention peroid was extended by two more days, can be held until June 16 and are still being held in cells alone.
 
The news agencies and production companies where the journalists work were also raided, and many cameras, computers and digital materials were seized in the raid. The search, which started at 04.30 on June 8, to the central office of JINNEWS in Yenişehir district, ended at 07.20, while the search that was started in the buildings of Piya and Ari productions continues for 6 days.
