KAFTANCIOĞLU WAS SENT TO SİLİVRİ

Kaftancıoğlu, whose proceedings were completed, was later transferred to the newly opened Silivri Women's Closed Prison. Kaftancıoğlu's attorney, Doğuşcan Aydın Aygün, announced that his client will go to prison after the proceedings and that she will be released with probation there.

Kaftancıoğlu said, "Congratulations to all of us for the Gezi resistance" in front of the courthouse.

'I HAVE THE RIGHT TO CRITICIZE WHAT IS WRONG'

Kaftancıoğlu shared the following on her Twitter account. “Trolls who insistantly try to create a perception by calling me 'enemy of the state'; If I was going to be an enemy to something, I would be an enemy to the AKP, which I cannot even be. I am not that kind of person, just like I can't be an enemy even to you:) You can be an enemy to us though. I have the right to criticize what is wrong no matter where it comes from. If I was hostile to those who  slander, insult people, swear to people, and tell lies, I would be like you, that must be the thing I fear the most in life. Neither your mind nor your perspective is enough to measure my love of life, nature and my country.”
