HDP MP Ömer Öcalan, nephew of the PKK Leader, said, “They did not allow our guests to enter the village. There is a special law applied in Amara, no one can visit Mr. Öcalan's village. This is the desperation of the state. They should stop doing this. Mr. Öcalan will always have guests. Mr. Öcalan is the brain of the Kurdish people. Our door is open to everyone, anyone can visit. No one can prevent this with cruelty and lawlessness. We will embrace the paradigm of Mr. Öcalan. Mr. Öcalan's door is open to those who loves him. They are afraid. Amara will always play a role and mission on behalf of Öcalan."

'PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING FOR ÖCALAN'S FREEDOM'

Reminded that they were prevented from entering Amara, DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz said: “This is the desperation of the government. Today, we wanted to show how indispensable a figure Mr. Öcalan is for Turkish democracy. The whole world knows what Mr. Öcalan has suggested for the peoples. Not only the Kurds, but all the peoples of the world are fighting for Mr. Öcalan's freedom and for the construction of democracy."

Stating that there are campaigns for the phsycial freedom of Öcalan all around the workd, Aydeniz said: "Everyone knows that the paradigm of Öcalan is an alternative to the current system. AKP- MHP fascist government wants to deepen the isolation and spread chaos in the Middle East. They are trying to survive with war. Turkey is in a crisis in all dimensions. The only reason for this is the 'one-man' regime and the hostility against the Kurds."

CALL FOR STRUGGLE

Calling for an end to the isolation that continues for 23 years, Aydeniz said: "The isolation must be removed immediately. All anti-democratic practices started in İmralı and spreaded to prisons and the lives of the peoples. The reason for the crisis is the unlawfulness in İmralı. We have to step up the struggle. We will fight until the isolation is lifted. We will flock to Amara for this."
