Lost her daughter in Turkish chemical weapons attack: Kurds must unite against war

SIRNAK - Lost her life in Turkey's chemical weapons attacks, Ayşe Hezer, mother of Bişeng Hezer, made a call and said: "Kurds should unite against this war, and put an end to these attacks."
 
Turkey, which started a wave of attacks on the Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region on April 17, cannot make any progress despite the KDP cooperation. Unable to get the desired result from the attacks, Turkey started chemical weapons attacks at many points in the region. Ayşe Hezer, mother of YJA STAR member Bişeng Hezer who lost her life in Turkey's chemical weapons attacks on Avaşîn on May 3, 2021, condemned to the ongoing attacks and said that the Kurds should unite against the war.
 
HEZER IS WAITING FOR HER DAUGHTER'S REMAINS FOR 30 YEARS 
 
Ayşe Hezer (64) who was born in the in a village of the İdil district of Şırnak, had to migrate to İdil in the 1980s due to state pressure. Two brothers of Hezer, who joined the PKK in the same years due to state pressure, died in the 1990s. Despite the past 30 years, the remains of the two brothers have not been released to their families. Describing the pressures on her family, Ayşe Hezer said they have been through a lot.
 
A LIFE UNDER STATE PRESSURE
 
Saying that her life was spent under state pressure, Ayşe Hezer said, “The oppression of the state never ended. There were constant raids on our house, they were making threats. In 2010, my son Abdullah was murdered by the police on the Cizre bridge. Another of my sons was arrested when he was 13 years old. He was tortured in prison, they broke his back. He was later released but sentenced to 125 years in prison in the ongoing trial. He had to go to Europe. Another son of mine was imprisoned for 5 years and joined the PKK after he was released. One of my daughters joined the PKK in 2014. Another daughter of mine had a traffic accident and went to Europe for treatment.”

Losing her daughter Bişeng Hezer in Turkey's chemical weapons attacks on May 3, 2021, Ayşe Hezer said, "I learned about my daughter's martyrdom from the news. They tortured her dead body and shared that video on social media. They exposed her body, dragged her on the ground. My heart breaks when I think of it.” 
 
CHEMICAL WEAPON ATTACKS
 
Stating that the Kurds should stand against the AKP-KDP attacks, Ayşe Hezer said, “The Turkish state killed my daughter with chemical weapons and tortured her dead body. Today, Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn are under chemical weapons attacks. The use of chemical weapons is a crime against humanity. Why are the international institutions silent? Why does everyone stay silent and become an accomplice when it comes to Kurds?"
 
"KURDS MUST UNITE"
 
Calling for the Kurds to unite against the attacks, Ayşe Hezer said, “Mothers hearts are tearing apart. We don't want bloodshed. This persecution must end. The Kurds must unite against this war and stop the attacks. We must no longer be silent.”
