KOBANÊ – The discussions about Turkey, sending jihadist merceneries to the war in Libya and Karabakh was one of the most important claims about the two wars. Even though Turkey denied those claims, the photos and credentials of 88 merceneries were obtained.

Turkey taking control of the area between İdlib and Serêkanîyê using the Salafi groups being gathered under the roof of Free Syrian Army (ÖSO), which was later called Syrian National Army (SMO) after the Syrian civil war have turned these groups into bargaining chips.

These groups told to be used in Libya first, was later used in the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, at Karabakh. The fact that these men were offered 2 thousand dollars was reflected in the international media which lead to the perception that Turkey transferred these forces within the approval of some international powers.

There are also allegations that after Libya and Karabakh, Syrian mercenaries are preparing to be sent to Kashmir and Qatar this time.

Even though these claims are denied by Turkey, Mesopotamia Agency obtained the credentials and photos of  88 jihadist merceneries.

The mercenaries sent to Libya and Karabakh are mostly from Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Damascus, Bab, Idlib and Dera in Syria. There are also some merceneries among them coming from the city of Efrîn which Turkey took control of back in 2018. While some of those people were learned to return from the war zones, it was learned that some of them still remained in these areas.
