MARAŞ - HDP Elbistan District Organization administrator 70-year-old Ali Kısa and his wife Elif Kısa were detained and arrested for not submitting to the threates to leave HDP before the congress. Their mentally, hearing- and speech-impaired children, whom they were responsible for their care, were left alone at home.
The pressure on the People's Democratic Party (HDP) is increasing. The families of thousands of imprisoned HDP executives are being punished as well. Those threatened by the police and the gendarmerie to prevent them from taking part in the administration are arrested on fabricated grounds for ignoring the threat. One of these arrests took place in Elbistan district of Maraş on December 3, World Day of Persons with Disabilities.
DISABLED BROTHERS ALONE
The 70-year-old Ali and Elif Kisa, who were detained before the HDP Elbistan District Organization Congress and threatened to leave the HDP while in custody, were detained again after the election of Ali Kisa and then both got arrested. Two of the hearing-impaired and speech-impaired children, whose parents were dependent, lacked the power and will to sustain their lives, were left alone. Their two hearing and speech impaired children whom they are responsible for their care were left alone.
