ŞIRNAK - The house of Osman Beytur who has been detained in Cizre for 4 years was raided. The policemen scratching the picture of the victory sign on the wall of the house threatened the family.

 

Special operations police raided the home of the Beytur family in Cizre district of Şırnak. During the raid, the family members lying on the ground, the police destroyed all the property in the house. Police officers asked Osman Beytur, one of the family members who had been a prisoner in Şırnak T Type Closed Prison for 4 years. Although the family stated that Beytur had been detained for 4 years, the police searched the house from top to bottom.

 

Hatice Beytur, stating that they searched the house even though she said her son is in prison, said: "They raided our house at 01.55 A.M. They yelled at us asking where Osman is. They threatened us with arrest and messed up our house completely."

 

 

Mother Beytur also stated that the police scratched of the victory sign her son draw at the wall 7 years ago and that they threatened them with arrest unless they clean it off the wall until the other day.
