MARDİN -Fırat Şimdi, who reportedly took his own life to not be captured during the police raid in Mardin earlier today, has been buried.
Special operations police carried out raid on a flat in the Istasyon neighborhood in Mardin’s Artuklu district early this morning.
Reports suggest that Fırat Şimdi, who was in the flat during the raid, claimed his own life not to be captured.
Following an autopsy at Mardin Public Hospital, the man’s body was taken by his relatives and buried in the cemetery in Istasyon neighborhood. Only family members were allowed to attend the funeral.
