Former Culture Minister Gunay: AKP plays the overtime

ISTANBUL - Former Minister of Tourism and Culture Ertugrul Gunay, who evaluated the resignations from the AKP and the transfer of 4 names, including former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, to the disciplinary committee said the AKPhas been playing the overtime but that you can lead the horse to the water but you can't make it drink.

Günay said all the names left behind after Erdoğan became the President hierarchically have been neutralized in the party.
 
 
Güna stated that AKP have become a structure close to critisim and self critisim, said democracy is not possible with such a structure. Günay said: "The out of date language of politics that is surrounded by epic nationalism and their practices puts the unity and the integrityof the country. The AKP is currently dominated by a governance model and mentality reminiscent of the single-party era of the 1940s. ”
 
 
'YOU CAN LEAD THE HORSE TO THE WATER BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE IT DRINK'
 
 
Stating that it is not possible for the single-party model of the 1940s to be permanent in the 21st century, Günay said that every individual in his right mind could understand that this model was a wrong model. Günay added that the AKP have been playing overtime by force, said: "You can lead the horse to the water but you can't make it drink."  Günay who said that the majority of AKP's former leaders, ministers and founding members lived the dead-lock one-on-one, and that new searches stemming from this congestion have emerged and will continue to emerge.
 
 
'INADEQUACY OF THE OPPOSITION PROLONGED THE LIFE OF AKP'
 
Günay said that the AKP's life span has already been over with the wrong Syrian policy but prolonged its own life due to the inadequacy of the opposition, adding that the objections coming inside from AKP's will lead it to expiration.
