DİYARBAKIR - The HDP Youth Assembly called on people to join the march organised in Diyarbakır with the slogan: "No to War, Yes to a solution through Democratic Politics".
The HDP Youth Assembly announced that a march will be held on 8 July in Diyarbakır. The press release was read in the borough of Yenişehir, after police tried to stop the young people marching from the HDP office to Sanat Street.
HDP Diyarbakır Provincial co-chair Zeyat Ceylan read the statement. At the press conference were also HDP Diyarbakır MPs Dersim Dağ, Saliha Aydeniz, Semra Güzel, Musa Farisoğulları, Mothers of Peace, Tevgera Jinên Ajad (TJA), HDP, DBP Province representatives, district organizations, Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) and HDP Youth Assembly members.
In a short statement, co-chair Ceylan pointed out that the march to be held on 8 July is to say "peace instead of war. Democracy instead of injustice. Kurds say that solving the Kurdish question will help Turkey's democratization."
The march will start off in front of the HDP Kayapınar District building.
