Batman - HDP Batman Deputy Rüştü Tiryaki pointed out the ongoing cross-border operation and said that the Kurdish problem cannot be solved by military operations. Tiryaki stressed that everyone should assume responsibility to solve the Kurdish problem in a democratic and peaceful way.
The cross-border operation of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) against the Iraqi Federated Kurdistan Region is now on its fourth day. This military operation, which was launched following a call by PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, saying that there is a need for dialogue about the resolution of the Kurdish problem in his message from İmralı, was the last piece of puzzle of the policies of war and violence.
Evaluating this step in such a period, the People's Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki said that the Kurdish problem could not be solved through these cross-border operations, which he reminded, was tried many times before.
'MILITARY OPERATIONS WAS TRIED BEFORE'
Underlining that the Kurdish parties and the HDP have been offering democratic and peaceful methods for the solution of the Kurdish problem for 30 years, Tiryaki underlined that all the military methods that was tried to solve Kurdish problem have not solved anything until today. Tiryaki said, "They have done much bigger operations that didn't give any results, we always go back to square one and talk the same things through from the start. In these operations, we had to bury young bodies in the ground. They have to see that cross border operations do not work.
