ANKARA- HDP Group Deputy Chairperson Ayhan Bilgen, critisized AKP President Erdoğan's Syria policies compared to their attitude about Venezuela and said: " Why don't you put the constituent assembly and the constitution-making process in Syria into the center of your politics? Turkey will be forced to pay the price of the wrong policies."

 

HDP Group Deputy Chairperson Ayhan Bilgen held a press conference in the parliament regarding the developments in the agenda.

 

Bilgen criticized AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan's discourse stating: " Our low-level contact with Syria administration is continuing" and said: " If Turkey's main criteria about Syria is the territorial integrity ,the only way of achieving this is to ensure the right to say about the future of Syria with all segments of the society. Apart from this, another way to ensure the territorial integrity is not found in human history yet. Turkey, opposes the coup in Venezuela, and thinks constituent assembly is a good formula . If a country faces external threat or civil war, if the constituent assembly and the construction of a new constitution is an important way of living together, why can't you uphold the same thing with Syria? Why don't you put the constituent assembly and the constitution-making process in Syria into the center of your politics? Turkey will be forced to pay the price of the wrong policies."
