45 women in hunger strike with Güven

DİYARBAKIR- The hunger strike initiated by DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven who demands the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan to be terminated is in its 77th day. 44 other women are in an indefinite non-rotating hunger strike with her.
 
Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Deocratic Party (HDP) HAkkari Deputy Leyla Güven's hunger strike she initiated with the demand of terminating the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is in its 77th day while the hunger strikes of the political prisoners supporting Güven is continuing. The 10 day support hunger strikes prisoners started in prisons have turned to indefinite non-rotating hunger strikes on December 16.
 
Up until now 250 prisoners in 59 different prisons are on hunger stike for 39 days. 
 
JOURNALIST EVREN IS ON HUNGER STRIKE FOR 39 DAYS
 
journalist Kibriye Evren who was taken under custody in scope of an operation on October 9 started a hunger strike in December 16. Evren who is currently in Diyarbakır Type E Closed Prison is on hunger strike for 39 days.
 
TUNCEL AND IRMAK ON HUNGER STRIKE FOR 8 DAYS
 
Democratic Districts Party (DBP) Co chair Sebahat Tuncel and former HDP Hakkari Deputy Selma Irmak who was taken under custody protesting the arrests of the HDP parliamentarians and then got arrested have started a hunger strike on January 16. Their hunger strike is in its 8th day today.
