NEWS DESK- DTK Co-chair an HDP Parliamentarian Leyla Güven is in her 15th day of hunger strike she started to protest the segregation against PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan. While the health of Leyla Güven who faces up to die fort his cause detoriates, public opinion’s expectation is that her demand to be met.

Leyla Güven who got arrested due to her reaction against the Efrin , the statements she made and the work of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) on January 31, is being kept at Diyarbakır Type E Prison since that day.Even though she was elected a parliamentarian in June 24 elections, she was not released. Despite Diyarbakır 9th Criminal Court decided she should be released on her hearing in June 29, prosecution objected to the verdict and she was arrested again before she was even released.
 
The application her lawyers made referring to CHP Parliamentarian Enis Berberoğlu, who was released when he was elected a parliamentarian, the court that previously decided her release, rejected the application.
