AMED - Women shouldered the coffin of university student Rojin Kabaiş, who was found 18 days after her disappearance. Kabaiş was buried amid tears.
The lifeless body of Yüzüncü Yıl University student Rojin Kabaiş, who went missing in Wan (Van) on September 27, was found 18 days later on the shore of Molla Kasım village on Lake Wan. The body was autopsied at Van Forensic Medicine Institution (ATK) and brought to Amed (Diyarbakır). The family was accompanied by Wan Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Neslihan Şedal and members of the Peoples' Democratic and Equality Party (DEM Party).
The body was brought to Yeniköy Cemetery in Rezan (Bağlar) district and after religious rituals were performed, the body was taken to the cemetery where it will be buried. With the participation of DEM Party members, Amed Metropolitan and district co-mayors, TJA, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) members and hundreds of people, Kabaiş's body was taken to the cemetery where it will be buried.
WOMEN SHOULDERED THE BODY
Women took the body out of the vehicle and carried the coffin to the cemetery. The body was buried amid women's lamentations and tears. After prayers were recited at the grave, the crowd left the cemetery. After the family accepted condolences at the cemetery, they went to Abdurrahman Enç Condolence House.
