NEWS CENTER - 26 human rights organizations in Rojhilat and Iran condemned the death sentence against Pexşan Ezîzî and demanded that the verdict be lifted.
In a joint statement, 26 human rights organizations in Iran and Rojhilat condemned the death sentence against activist Pexşan Ezîzî. The statement called on international organizations, human rights organizations and civil society organizations to take immediate action against the death sentence against Pexşan Ezîzî. It also demanded that necessary steps be taken to halt the sentence.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Pexşan Ezîzî was detained by Iranian forces in August 2024 and sentenced to death by a Tehran court for participating in the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî (Woman, life, freedom)” protests.
