WAN – 27 people, including 4 women, have been executed in 10 days in Iran. 

 

According by human rights organizations in Iran, 27 people have been executed in prisons across Iran since July 18. It was pointed out that the majority of those executed were Kurdish prisoners. It was also stated that 4 of the executed people were women. 

 

It is stated that at least 293 people have been executed in Iran since the beginning of the year. Most of the executed people are Kurdish and anti-regime dissidents.
