ADANA - Specialized Sergeant Gökhan Çelik, who murdered the woman he was married to yesterday in Seyhan and injured 3 people, was detained. 

 

In Seyhan district of Adana, Specialized Sergeant Gökhan Çelik (27) murdered Hatice Çelik (29), whom he was in the process of divorcing, at around 12.30 pm yesterday. Çelik and her brother-in-law Murat Akdöker, who was in the same car with her, were also wounded in the attack. The ricocheting bullets also injured 2 passersby. The attacker Çelik, who was shot in the leg by the police, fled the scene. 

 

Brother-in-law Murat Akdöker and 2 wounded people were hospitalized. Akdöker's health condition remains serious.

 

The attacker Çelik was detained in the apartment where he was hiding in Yeşilyurt neighborhood of Seyhan district.
