An investigation has been launched into the fire that broke out between Amed's (Diyarbakır-Kurdistan) Çinar (Xana Axpar) district and Mêrdîn (Mardin-Kurdistan) Şemrex (Mazıdağı) district. Sharing a post on the issue on his virtual media X platform account, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç said: “A judicial investigation has been launched by the Çınar Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the stubble fire that broke out in the area between Diyarbakır's Çınar and Mardin's Mazıdağı districts and spread over a wide area. May God have mercy on our citizens who lost their lives in the fire, and I wish a speedy recovery to our injured citizens. I convey my best wishes to all our citizens affected by the fire.”
