QERS – AKP, whose objection to the District Election Board regarding the Bazarcix (Dağpınar) Town Municipality ballot box results won by the DEM Party was rejected, appealed to the Provincial Election Board this time.
People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), which won by a landslide in the elections held on Sunday in the Bazarcix (Dağpınar) Town Municipality of Qers' Dîgor (Digor) district, is trying to take over.
Wanting to usurp the will of the people of the town, AKP objected to the Digor District Election Board.
AKP, whose objection was rejected, this time appealed to the Provincial Election Board.
In the district of Bazarcix Town, where there are 2 thousand 185 voters, 1,818 votes were considered valid. DEM Party Co-chair Candidates Ayten Yardımcıel and Hüsnü Anci received 991 votes from the valid votes, while current trustee and AKP candidate Omer Vargün received 827 votes.
Although Ebubekir Erkmen, the candidate of the People's Democratic Party (HDP), won the Bazarcix Municipality in the 2019 elections, the certificate of election was given to AKP candidate Omer Vargün on the grounds that he was expelled by decree.
