After the Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) lifted the publication ban, data regarding the election results began to arrive. According to the 12.59 percent of ballot boxes opened, the Republican People's Party (CHP) is ahead in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

 

ISTANBUL

 

According to preliminary data, CHP received 59.40 percent of the votes in Istanbul, AKP 37.02 percent and DEM Party 2 percent.

 

ANKARA

 

According to preliminary data, CHP received 61.16 percent of the votes in Ankara, AKP 35.84 percent and DEM Party 1 percent.

 

IZMIR

 

According to preliminary data, CHP received 56.11 percent of the votes in Izmir, AKP 36.59 percent and DEM Party 3.17 percent.
