AMED - Those who visited the Justice Watch in Amed to support the action said that their demands is peace and freedom.

There has been no news from PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan, who is held in absolute isolation in Imralı Type F High Security Closed Prison, and other prisoners in Imralı, Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş, for 34 months. Justice Watch actions, launched in many cities with demands to end the isolation imposed on Abdullah Ocalan and ensure his physical freedom, continue. Amed is one of the cities where the Justice Watch, led by Mothers for Peace and prisoners' relatives, continues.

‘MEETINGS MUST BE HELD'

Makbule Güven, who supported the Justice Watch in Amed, emphasized that if the Imralı isolation is abolished, both the watchs and the hunger strike started by prisoners in prisons with similar demands will end. Emphasizing that the Kurds must say "stop" to the isolation, Güven said: "Let's take action before the dead of our children leave the prison."

Güven pointed to the prison system in Imralı and said, "Even a bird cannot see this prison." Stating that this system cannot be found in any country in the world, Güven said: "Abdullah Ocalan needs to be allowed to meet with his lawyers and family. For this, isolation must be abolished.”

CALL FOR SUPPORT TO THE JUSTICE WATCH

Mehmet Kaya, one of the supporters of the Justice Watch, emphasized that the tears arising from the conflicts will not stop until the isolation is abolished. Emphasizing that they want peace and freedom, not death, Kaya emphasized that their demands are "a democratic Turkey and autonomous Kurdistan".

Rıfat Ronî pointed out that the isolation has spread to the whole society. Recalling the meetings held with Ocalan between 2013 and 2015, Ronî noted that no one was hurt and mothers did not cry during that period. Ronî called for support to the Justice Watch to end the isolation.

Abdurrazak Sevgioğlu said: "Prisoners are exposed to rights violations and faced with practices that are not in the law. The Kurds must raise their voices and actions against this isolation. If this happens, the government will have to abolish the isolation.”
