AMED - Amed Metropolitan Municipality trustee allocated many immovable properties belonging to the municipality to the Directorate of National Education and the treasury before the election.
Amed (Diyarbakır) Metropolitan Municipality, under trustee management, transferred many immovable properties just days before the March 31 local elections. With the decision dated January 10, Ali Emiri Information House, Central Information House, Martyr Ali Gaffar Okan Academic High School, Temapark Book Cafe, Brotherhood Park and Kent Square Book Cafe were allocated to the Provincial Directorate of National Education.
The reason for this decision is as follows: "Ensuring that our students have suitable study areas, instilling the habit of reading books in our students, protecting our students from harmful environments and habits, increasing their preparation and academic levels for exams, and enabling our trainees registered in the courses opened by Public Education Centers to benefit more effectively."
In the decision, it was stated that the immovable properties were allocated for 25 years.
