The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced that 2 people were neutralized and 2 people were arrested in connection with the bomb attack in the city of Kerman on January 3.
In the statement published by the Ministry, it was announced that one of the arrested people was Muhammed Imran Tanvir, nicknamed 'Abu Imran', one of the leaders of ISIS. It was noted that Tanvir, who is said to be a handmade bomb expert, is one of the relatives of Abdullah Taciki, the main person behind the attack.
It was announced that the other person arrested was a man named "Mehtab" who entered the country disguised as a worker.
SEARCHING FOR THE REAL NAME
In the statement, it was stated that 'Muhammad Adel Aref', nicknamed 'Adel Panjshiri', one of the ISIS leaders, who had intelligence to be in a region in the west of Tehran, was also searched.
91 people lost their lives and more than 100 people were injured in the bomb attack during the ceremony held on the anniversary of the death of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards Army, who was assassinated by the USA in Baghdad in 2020. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks.
