Kars Municipality Co-Mayor Ayhan Bilgen, who was arrested within the scope of the "Kobanê investigation" conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was dismissed on the order of the Ministry of Interior. While Kars Governor Türker Öksüz was appointed as trustee t replace the Co-Mayors, HDP Provincial Organization wanted to make a statement in front of the city hall in order to protest the situation.

 

The crowd including HDP MPs Dersim Dağ and Habip EKsik was not allowed in the vicinity of the city hall. The police that did not allow the HDP people near the building, attacked the crowd including members of parliament. 

 

Governor Öksüz, who was appointed as a trustee to the municipality, came to the city hall under heavy security measures. Enterances to the building was shot down by the police.
