BATMAN - 18-year-old İ.E., who attempted suicide after being raped by specialist sergeant Musa Orhan, died in the hospital where she had been treated since 16 July.

 

18-year-old İ.E, who attempted to commit suicide on July 16 in the district of Beşiri in Batman and was later learned to be raped by specialist sergeant Musa Orhan, died in the hospital where she was being treated.

 

While İ.E was fighting for her life in the hospital where she was taken after a suicide attempt, Specialized Seargent Orhan who was detained after İ.E's family found the letter she told she was raped, gave his statement and claimed that he never had a 'sexual relationship' with İ.E. Following the report of the Forensic Medicine Institude proving the rape, Orhan told he had been drinking and was 'intoxicated' at the time.

 

HE WAS RELEASED DESPITE REPORTS

 

A confidentiality order was issued for the investigation file of the specialized seargent. He was later released with judicial control measures by Siirt Criminal Court of Peace on Duty for the charge of 'qualified sexual abuse'.
