DTK condemns decision on Güven and Farisoğulları 2020-06-05 09:20:57 DİYARBAKIR - The Democratic Society Congress (DTK) said in a written statement that once again the government has ignored the people’s will.   The statement condemned the parliament decision to revoke the parliamentary status to Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari MP Leyla Güven, HDP Amed MP, Musa Farisoğulları and CHP (Republican People’s Party) Istanbul MP Enis Berberoğlu.   The statement said: “The AKP has ceased to be a political party for us. All our friends and democratic people should know this: by removing all democratic rules and principles, the AKP once again demonstrated that it is an enemy of democracy and justice. The AKP also demonstrated once again its hostility towards Kurds.”   The DTK invited “our people and the entire democratic community to express their solidarity with our co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven, our Council member and Amed Deputy Musa Farisoğulları. We also invite everyone to protest this unlawful decision.”
