Stating that many jobs are at risk due to the epidemic, Abbasoğlu reminded that approximately 2 thousand people die every year in workplace homicides. Stating that health services have become marketable, Abbasoğlu said thousands of workers are facing coronavirus in a system where workplace homicides aren't being recorded.   Stating that the workplace problems haven't been solved with the law no 6331 like AKP said it would, Abbasoğlu continued: "OSGB, which is the subcontractor organization of the Occupational Health service (Joint Health and Safety Units), has envisaged that it will be carried out manually and  has placed the responsibility for occupational health and safety not on bosses but on occupational health professionals. With the law numbered 6331, workplace doctors and occupational safety specialists working in OSGBs have been hired. In its current form, worker health service has become available on paper. In such an occupational health system, workers' health is left to the mercy of the bosses in the Covid-19 outbreak."
