Members of the People's House (HE) gathered in front of the Miner's Monument, one of the symbols of May Day, celebrated the day and protested the detention of everyone taken into custody for celebrating May Day with slogans 'Long live May Day', 'The only way is socialism and revolution', 'We will not die for capitalism and the palace'.   HE members protesting the detention of the DİSK members in İstanbul, made a statement in front of the Miner's Monument. People's House (HE) Co-Chair Dilşat Aktaş, stating that the measures taken against coronavirus is not protecting the people, said: "This government is an enemy to labour, is an enemy of rights. You are the ones usurping our labour and our streets. Taksim Square is May Day Square. Release the detained immediately. We are everywhere!"
