You will erase the letters X, W and Q'. It was also learned that some citizens were summoned to the police station and were battered there. Diyarbakır Silvan District Gendarmerie Command requested the families of those who lost their lives in the clashes by calling them on the phone or summoning them to the police station to break the gravestones of their children and erase the letters W, X and Q, which are in the Kurdish alphabet. It was learned that 3 families of HPG members from Sağlık, Şanlı (Kureşa) ve Mirali (Miraliya) neighborhoods were summoned to the police station and were threatened them to make them break the gravestones of their children.   The police commander told the families that they can not write anything other than their names and last names in their ID cards and that letters like X, W and Q will not be accepted on the gravestones.   BREAK THE GRAVESTONES AND SEND US THEIR PHOTOS   It was stated that some families who did not accept breaking the gravestones were summoned to the police station and beaten. The police commander told them to break the gravestones and send him the photos of the broken gravestones.   HDP Diyarbakır MP Semra Güzel who tabled a parliamentary question on the issue, and reminded that attacking graves considered to be a crime against humanity in both domestic and international law.
