Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 2,376 as total cases near 100,000

	NEWS CENTER - The Ministry of Health has announced that Turkey’s coronavirus death toll has risen to 2,376 and the total number of cases to 98,674. 117 people have died of the virus and 3,083 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours.

	 

	Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca announced the latest figures on novel coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in Turkey today (April 22).

	 

	While 3,083 people have tested positive, 117 people have died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 1,559 people have recovered. The number of tests conducted in the last 24 hours has been announced as 37,535.

	 

	According to the figures announced till today, 750,944 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in Turkey so far. While the total number of cases is 98,674, the death toll has reached 2,376.

	 

	While 1,814 people are in treatment in intensive care units, the number of intubated patients is 985 and the total number of recovered is 16,475.
