Prisoners given half portion of meals

	DİYARBAKIR - Mazlum Güzel, a prisoner in Şırnak Type T Closed Prison who spoke to his brother Fırat Güzel in his weekly call, said that there are no measures taken and they are being given half a portion of meals while their wards are being raided all the time by guards.

	 

	Fırat Güzel who spoke to his brother on the phone the day before, stating that there are hygiene issues in prison and that no measures have been taken against it, said: "My brother told that their wards are being raided all the time by the guards and they can not recieve their newspapers. He told that they are given half a portion of their meals. This persecution on the prisoners must end immediately. Everyone knows that the virus speaded all around the world. The government does not protect the prisoners."

	 

	Güzel, stating that the law prepared by AKP- MHP is unfair, said: "The law on execution is unfair and meaningless. They released all gang members, extortionists, sex offenders. But the political prisoners remained in prison just for speaking their minds. Thousands of people just like my brother must be released. We want the authorities to hear our voice. They are under pressure on a daily basis. The political prisoners are left for dead in prisons. Equality and justice must be provided for everyone."
