Violent conflict between groups in Serêkaniye 2020-04-21 12:06:12 URFA - Violent conflicts erupted in Serêkaniye controlled by Turkey and Turkey backed groups. The conflict erupted between these groups were confirmed by Ceylanpınar District Governorate. Violent conflicts erupted in Serêkaniye which is being controlled by Turkey as a result of the attacks carried out by Turkey backed paramilitary groups on October 9.  It was stated that the clashes in which heavy weapons were used occurred between Serêkaniye's Roj Hospital and the water tank. The clashes took place in the city center told to be between the groups supported by Turkey.   A house was hit in Ceylanpınar, bordering Serêkaniye during the clash. It was learned that there was nobody injured or died while material damage occurred at the house.   Ceylanpınar Municipality, on the other hand, announces that people should stay at home due to the clashes.   The Ceylanpınar District Governor confirmed that the conflict took place between the two groups on their social media account. The share made on the Facebook account of the district governor's office is as follows: "In Rasulayn, which was free from terrorism with the Operation of Peace Spring, there was a short-term armed clash between the two groups affiliated to the Syrian National Army on April 20, 2020, around 22.30; the incident ended with the intervention of the Turkish Armed Forces and local forces in the region."
