	İZMİR - İzmir Medical Chamber responded to the statements of Zonguldak Governor Erdogan Bektaş rearding the healthcare workers and stated that the governor shall resign.

	İzmir Medical Chamber reacted to the statements of Erdogan Bektaş, the Governor of Zonguldak, regarding the healthcare workers who were infected with coronavirus. The governer has said that: "They did not protect themselves and they have become a burden for us."

	In the statement announced in the social media channels of İzmir Medical Chamber it is stated as follows: “The Governor of Zonguldak should resign as he has recently announced that 137 out of 567 cases of COVID-19 are healthcare workers and that these workers did not protect themselves and harmed the fight against the pandemic."
