53 families twinned in Ankara 2020-04-17 11:31:19 ANKARA - HDP Ankara Provincial Co-chair Vezir Coşkun Parlak, who said that they brought 53 families together with their twins in Ankara, said: "Those who want to support our campaign should reach us as soon as possible because your twin family is waiting for you." Within the scope of the "Twin Family Campaign" initiated by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in the coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic, 53 families were brought together in Ankara and 150 families were provided with food aid. HDP Ankara Provincial Co-Chair Vezir Coşkun Parlak stated that they are continuing their work with 13 district organizations in the city and said that they aim to expand the campaign.   POVERTY HAS INCREASED   Expressing that the families who had to migrate to the city are living in difficult conditions, Parlak said: "Before the epidemic, these families worked in difficult conditions and lived daily with the money they earned that day. Now, with the epidemic, layoffs have increased considerably, and many have become unemployed. We reach families who have difficulties in meeting basic food, health, hygiene and cleaning needs through our local commissions."   'YOUR TWIN FAMILY IS WAITING FOR YOU'   Expressing that they established a 'Twin Family Solidarity Provincial Coordination' and that they are trying to reach everyone in need, Parlak said: "We share what we have with the families in need. The families who need support should definately reach us.  We will continue to be with them as best as we can.  With the outbreak, they want to create an atmosphere of fear and create an environment where people can think only of themselves. We can act together and in solidarity against these policies. Those who want to support our campaign should reach us as soon as possible. Because your twin family is waiting for you."
