Iraqi Foreign Ministry condemns Turkish attack on Maxmur camp 2020-04-17 09:36:52   NEWS CENTER - The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Turkish occupation army's bombing of the martyr Rustem Judi (Maxmur) camp in Hewler Governorate, which resulted in martyring of 3 women.   Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement that the ministry condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack by the Turkish side, which resulted in loss of life and property.   He added that the Foreign Minister directed to summon the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad and delivered a note of protest.   The Iraqi Security Media Cell had reported earlier, Wednesday, that Maxmur refugee camp had been bombed by Turkish air force.   The cell stated that the Air Defense Command detected a violation of Iraqi airspace through a Turkish drones armed with a flight line (Sindhi - Soara - Tuka - Al Qosh - north of Maxmur) with a height of 6 km and a speed of 200 km / hour.   Maxmur camp is located 65 kilometers south of the city center of Erbil, and on the strategic foot of Qaracox mount.
