The ship carrying 360 people remained off the Aegean Sea 2020-03-29 18:53:19   İZMİR- The large ro-ro ship used in vehicle transportation, which is not accepted to any port due to suspected coronavirus, was stranded off the Aegean Sea. There is a shortage of drinking water and there is no doctor on board.   It is stated that the Ro-ro ship "Venizelos" that is used for the transportation of wheeled vehicles  is affiliated with the Greek company Miray lnternational. The ship is stranded in the Aegean Sea. The ship, which set off from Çeşme Ulusoy Port to carry cargo and passengers to Spain on March 9 , was not accepted in any port in Spain due to the suspicion of coronavirus. On March 17, the ship was not accepted to any port on the way to Turkey. The ship, which carried 360 people, including the crew, was stranded off around Piraeus, Greece.   CONSUL SAYS 'WAIT'   A company employee, who likes to stay anonymous, currently on board reached our agency  “No virus test was conducted in any port we went to. There are no doctors on board. Even the thermometer does not work, the nurse tells us. Drinking water is not drinkable anymore. Our wages were cut. The firm and the Greek Consul we reached told us: 'We can't do anything. We have to wait' But how long, nobody tells".   Reporting that they can reach food, drink and internet only by paying, the worker stated that neither the company nor the consul sent them any food or drinkable water.
