	URFA - The deposition of dozens of people including attorneys in Urfa have started.

	&nbsp;

	Dozens of people including 7 attorneys from Urfa Bar, 2 attorneys from Diyarbakır Bar and 1 attorney from Şırnak Bar was taken into custody last thursday. The deposition of the people under custody have started at the police station.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	It was stated that the persons whose detention periods were extended for another 4 days yesterday were detained within the scope of an investigation of the Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and that 103 people were being investigated.

	It was stated that the accusation was that the people under custody were 'providing contact for the PKK/KCK Prison Committee's internal and external coordinations'. The file had a confidentiality order and the accusation was based on the anonymous witness statements by 4 secxret witnesses and the notes of the attorneys' meetings with their clients.

	It was stated that the lawyers were asked about their meetings with their clients. It was also stated that the attorneys made their defense saying their meetings with their clients do not constitude a crime.&nbsp;

	It has been stated that if the proceedings are over, the detention will not be extended for the second time and they are expected to be brought to the courthouse on Wednesday or Thursday.
