Father prevented from visiting her daughters grave and speak in Kurdish 2020-03-10 10:13:52   BATMAN – Salih Altunışık, a convict for 28 years who was released from prison allowedly to attend his daughter's funeral, was prevented from visiting his daughter's grave. Altınışık was also prevented from speaking  Kurdish, accepting the condolences on the phone.    Zeynep Altunışık (34), daughter of Salih Altınışık (69) who has been detained in Diyarbakır Type T Closed Prison for 28 years due to political reasons, died on February 29. The Altunışık family applied to the prison prosecutor through their lawyers for him to attend the funeral of her daughter. The prosecutor responded positively 3 days after the funeral. Salih Altunışık who went home to accept condolences with a police blocade was prevented from visiting his daughter's grave for 'Legal reasons'. Father Altunışık was also prevented from speaking in Kurdish, his mother tongue, accepting condolences from relatives and friends.   Noting that her husband is in prison for 28 years, Selime Altunışık said: "My husband is in prison for 28 years. There are people who haven't seen him in years. He as more than 300 friends from prison in Batman. Zeynep has lost her life. People wanted to see my husband, extend condolences..They did not allow it. Our house was surrounded by the police while we were accepting condolences.He was even prevented from visiting her grave."     MA / Metin Yoksu
