The number of people dying of the coronavirus in Iran is rising inexorably. The number of people infected is also rising rapidly. According to health authorities, eleven people have died within 24 hours, and currently 2,336 people are infected with the coronavirus. So far, at least 77 people in Iran have died from the virus - at least officially. Unofficially, there are said to be hundreds of corona deaths.   The virus has also infected the Iranian state leadership. According to the deputy speaker of the parliament Abdul Reza Misri, 23 members of parliament and high-ranking politicians have been infected. Among others, the chief advisor of Iranian President Masume Ibtikar, the chairman of the parliamentary commission for national security Muschtaba Zunnur and the member of parliament Mahmoud Sadeghi have been infected with the corona virus.   Hadi Husrevshahi, former Iranian ambassador to the Vatican and close confidant of the Iranian supreme cleric Ali Khamenei, Seyyed Mohammad Mirmohammadi, a member of the Arbitration Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and a newly elected member of parliament have died as a result of the virus. Earlier it had become known that the Iranian Minister of Health had also become infected with the corona virus.
